Amy Mina
Board Member & Organisational Change Advisor
Amy Mina has 20 years of leadership and managament experience in the development and humanitarian sector in Eygpt, Jordan, Lebanon, Iraq, Haiti, Guatemala and in various countries in Africa. Amy has recently joined Practical Action as thier International Programme Director.
Previously, Amy worked with Save the Children International in a variety of roles including International Director of Programme Quality, Regional Programme Director, Country Director and as Associate Regional Director. She has played key roles in humanitarian responses in Haiti, Iraq, Lebanon and Salvador.
Amy has co-led global strategy development processes, managed large teams nationally and globally, led evaluations, facilitated complex change and organisational development processes and led resource mobilisation. She recently led a large and complex change management process to improve organisational effectiveness and efficiency at a global level.
Her areas of expertise include organisational development and management, project management, results-based programming design and delivery, monitoring and evaluation, strategy development, budget management and needs assessments.
Amy holds a Master of Science Degree in Social Policy and Planning from the London School of Economics and is fluent in English, French, Spanish and Arabic. She has completed Lean Six Sigma Green Belt training.
